Notes

'Arguta' spirea (Spiraea 'Arguta') is a shrub for hedges, foundation plantings, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil. It blooms in early to late spring. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds all visit the flowers, so it adds life to the garden. Prune it after the blooms fade to keep it tidy.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Ruby Spice sweet pepperbush, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
