Notes

'Ariel' peony (Paeonia 'Ariel') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The early, full double blooms are white tinged with palest flesh and have a cinnamon scent. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Mrs. Walter Campbell Lyman bred it.

Pairs well with Maiden pink, Nodding onion, and Switchgrass.
