Notes

'Aristocrat' peony (Paeonia 'Aristocrat') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant double red blooms have golden edges and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. George Hollis bred it.

Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Switchgrass, and Nodding onion.
