Notes

'Armistice' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Armistice') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, double, rose-pink blooms have a rose form and a sweet fragrance. The stems are tall and strong, so they hold the flowers well. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.

Pairs well with Francee hosta, Queen of Night tulip, and Cinnamon fern.
