Notes

'Art's Pride' coneflower (Echinacea 'Art's Pride') is a perennial for borders and low-maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer and stands 24 to 36 inches tall. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the fragrant flowers. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Bee balm, Silver feather grass, Purple top, and Purrsian Blue nepeta.
