Notes

'Attia of the Julii' peony (Paeonia 'Attia of the Julii') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Joshua Scholten bred it, and the light yellow, semi-double flowers have a slight citrus fragrance. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Plants stand upright, so they need no support.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Little bluestem, and Pink Impression tulip.
