Notes

'Audie Murphy' rose (Rosa 'Audie Murphy') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It has upright growth, dark green leaves, and fragrant, medium red blooms that open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Dr. Walter E. Lammerts bred it in 1957.

Pairs well with Bigleaf hydrangea, Hollyhock, and Casa Blanca lily.
