Notes
'Auguste Gervais' rose (Rosa 'Auguste Gervais') is a vine for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Fragrant apricot blooms open from early to late summer and attract bees. Barbier Freres & Compagnie introduced it in 1918. Give it a sturdy support so the tall canes have room to climb.
Pairs well with The President clematis, Serviceberry, and Ornamental onion.
