Notes

'Aunt Erna' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Aunt Erna') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its upright stems reach 30 inches tall and carry about 4 buds each. The single, soft creamy white flowers have ivory undertones and ruffled, cupped petals. Roy G. Klehm bred it in 1995.

Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Royal fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
