Notes

'Aunt Fritzi' peony (Paeonia 'Aunt Fritzi') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Baby pink double flowers open early in spring and have a faint scent. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Hans Maschke bred it.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Pink Impression tulip, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
