Notes

'Aurea' climbing hydrangea (Hydrangea anomala 'Aurea') is a vine for specimen use and privacy screening. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun or part shade. It climbs to 20 to 30 feet and bears white flowers in early to mid summer. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Keep it away from pets and horses, since it is toxic to dogs, cats, and horses.

Pairs well with Rouge Cardinal clematis, Dropmore Scarlet honeysuckle, Snowdrop, and Autumn Brilliance juneberry.
