Notes

'Flying Saucer' climbing hydrangea (Hydrangea anomala 'Flying Saucer') is a vine for specimen use and privacy screening. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun or part shade. Airy, dish-shaped white flower heads open in early to mid summer and draw butterflies and bees. Self-clinging aerial roots let it climb on its own, so give it a sturdy wall or tree to cover.

Pairs well with Rouge Cardinal clematis, Western sword fern, Autumn Brilliance juneberry, and Snowdrop.
