Notes

'Aureate' rose (Rosa 'Aureate') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant orange blooms attract bees and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Alexander bred it, and Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd introduced it in 1932.

Pairs well with Blazing star, Fountain grass, Yellow iris, and Rock rose.
