Notes

'Aurora Sunrise' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Aurora Sunrise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pink Japanese type blooms open in early to mid spring with a golden center of tightly packed stamens. Each stem has good strength and carries 3-5 buds. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Black Hero tulip, and Sensitive fern.
