Notes
'Autumn Light' eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis 'Autumn Light') is a grass for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching clumps reach 4 to 8 feet tall, and copper red plumes fade to white and attract birds. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It also tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Sundrops, and Ornamental onion.
