Notes

'Aviateur Lindbergh' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Aviateur Lindbergh') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It stays short and blooms freely from mid to late spring into early summer. The large red flowers show white markings and some stamens. Auguste Dessert bred it in 1927.

Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, Monkshood, Sensitive fern, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
