Notes

'Azog' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Azog') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, reddish-purple-pink flowers have light pink and green striations, and the color does not change as they age. Plants stand upright and do not need support.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Western sword fern.
