Notes

'Baby Kim' lilac (Syringa 'Baby Kim') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms in spring and again later in the season, so you get more than one round of fragrant purple flowers. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Cytherea peony, Little Beauty tulip, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Polish Spirit clematis.
