Notes

'Baja' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Baja') is a perennial for borders, containers, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Its fragrant blooms attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Moonshine yarrow, Lady's mantle, and Nodding onion.
