Notes

'Balmircher' autumn sage (Salvia greggii 'Balmircher') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. It has an arching habit and blooms in spring, summer, and autumn, drawing butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Ice plant, and Goldenrod.
