Notes

'Wild Thing' autumn sage (Salvia greggii 'Wild Thing') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Hot pink flowers open in spring, summer, and autumn on arching stems. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit them. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Fountain grass, Ice plant, and Goldenrod.
