Notes

'Barnes' greater snowdrop (Galanthus elwesii 'Barnes') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It forms a clumping habit and grows at a moderate rate. Bees visit the blooms in winter and spring.
