Notes

'Godfrey Owen' greater snowdrop (Galanthus elwesii 'Godfrey Owen') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, cottage gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet, clay soil. It forms a clumping mound 4 to 8 inches tall and wide, and bees visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Plant it in drifts where the winter blooms can brighten a bare bed.

Pairs well with Ostrich fern, Fire and Ice hosta, Carlton daffodil, and Sedge.
