Notes

'Polar Bear' greater snowdrop (Galanthus elwesii 'Polar Bear') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet, clay soil. Pendulous white flowers often break through the snow in late winter, and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Patrick van den Berg bred it.

Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Fire and Ice hosta, and Sedge.
