Notes

'Baronesse' rose (Rosa 'Baronesse') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It stays compact and bears deep pink blooms from late spring into early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Christian Evers bred it as a sport of 'Mariatheresia'.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Little bluestem, Jackmanii clematis, and Casa Blanca lily.
