Notes
'Baxendale's Late' snowdrop (Galanthus plicatus 'Baxendale's Late') is a bulb for woodland gardens, shady borders, and early spring color. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade. It is a large, late-blooming selection that can reach 10 inches high. The pendulous white flowers often have green markings, and the folded leaves give the species its pleated look.
Pairs well with Frances Williams hosta, Silver Parrot tulip, and Bush honeysuckle.
