Notes

Beach verbena (Glandularia maritima) is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It spreads wide and stays low, so give it room to roam. The purple blooms attract butterflies and bees. Drought and salt do not bother it, and the foliage stays evergreen.

Pairs well with Purple sage, Vetiver, and Matilija poppy.
