Notes

'De La Mina' prairie verbena (Glandularia lilacina 'De La Mina') is a perennial for borders and containers, and it needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in spring, summer, and autumn, and the flowers are fragrant. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms. The leaves stay green through the year.

Pairs well with Globemaster allium, Shenandoah switchgrass, and Elfin mother of thyme.
