Notes

'Beautious' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Beautious') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers are reddish-pink with white petal margins and open in mid to late spring. Plants reach about 71 cm (28") and grow low and broad, so they need no support.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Indian grass, and Pincushion flower.
