Notes

'Becky' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Becky') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears pure white, double, globe-shaped blooms from mid to late spring into early summer. The strong stems reach about 30 inches tall. William Henry Krekler bred it and named it for his granddaughter.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Aromatic aster, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
