Notes

'BeeBop' spotted beebalm (Monarda punctata 'BeeBop') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, meadows, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The yellow flowers have brown spots, but the silver and silver-pink bracts steal the show. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit it.

Pairs well with Prairie Sun rudbeckia, Indian grass, and Joe Pye weed.
