Notes

'Bees Knees' rose (Rosa 'Bees Knees') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Yellow blend blooms open from early to late summer and smell sweet. Bees visit the flowers, and the upright shape suits a spot near the front of a bed. Keith W. Zary bred it in 1998.

Pairs well with Nelly Moser clematis, Stargazer lily, Hardy hibiscus, and Maltese cross.
