Notes

'Behold' peony (Paeonia 'Behold') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows about 26 inches tall and bears fragrant, double, rose-pink blooms that attract butterflies and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Fire and Ice hosta, Knapweed, and Blue grama.
