Notes

'Belle Hough' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Belle Hough') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears double pink blooms in early summer. The full flowers look lovely in a vase, so cut a few stems for indoors. H.A. Terry bred it in 1921.

Pairs well with Invincibelle Ruby smooth hydrangea, Cinnamon fern, Queen of Night tulip, and Bellwort.
