Notes

'Belle of Somerset' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Belle of Somerset') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The blooms open vivid pink, fade to soft pink, and then turn snow white. Kelway bred it, and the flowers are fine in shape and color.

Pairs well with Joe Pye weed, Switchgrass, and Mexican hat.
