Notes

'Belvidere Princess' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Belvidere Princess') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms in mid to late spring with soft shell pink single flowers. The blooms reach 6 inches wide and have large guard petals around the stamens. They give off a slight fragrance.

Pairs well with False Solomon's seal, Carnaval De Nice tulip, Cinnamon fern, and Limeglow creeping juniper.
