Notes

'Benary's Giant Carmine' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Benary's Giant Carmine') is an annual for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 35 to 47 inches tall and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds. Deer tend to pass it by. Tolerance of dry spells makes it easy to grow.

Pairs well with Spider flower, Snapdragon, and First Knight fountain grass.
