Notes

'Benary's Giant Coral' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Benary's Giant Coral') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the blooms, and the plant handles drought well. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Flowers appear from early to late summer.

Pairs well with Sunrich Orange sunflower, Celosia, and Red fescue.
