Notes

'Bethie' peony (Paeonia 'Bethie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Semi-double pink blooms open in spring on sturdy stems, and butterflies and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Don Hollingsworth bred it.

Pairs well with Hosta, Indian grass, and Nodding onion.
