Notes

'Betty Groff' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Betty Groff') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is a big, sturdy plant that bears many large, light pink flowers in early summer. The Japanese type blooms have brush-like yellow-tipped centers and fade to near white. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Sedge, and Ostrich fern.
