Notes

'Betty Uprichard' rose (Rosa 'Betty Uprichard') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant blooms are salmon-pink with a carmine reverse, and bees visit them. They open in late spring, repeat from early to late summer, and come again in early autumn. Alexander Dickson II bred it in 1920.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Lanceleaf coreopsis, and Little bluestem.
