Notes
'Bevan' cranesbill (Geranium macrorrhizum 'Bevan') is a perennial for borders, ground cover, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Deep magenta flowers with dark red sepals open in spring, summer, and autumn. The leaves are fragrant and the plant tolerates drought.
Pairs well with Spotted dead nettle, Sedge, and Western sword fern.
