Notes

'Bhutan' peony (Paeonia 'Bhutan') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, specimen plantings, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, semi-double flowers blend pink, yellow, and orange with dark pink flares, and bees and butterflies visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Prof. Harald Fawkner bred it.

Pairs well with Hosta, Nodding onion, and Switchgrass.
