Notes

Grape (Vitis aestivalis) is a vine for privacy screens, woodland gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows fast and can reach 300 to 420 inches tall, so give it a strong support. Yellow-green flowers open in spring and summer and attract bees and birds. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Passionflower, Cross vine, Pecan, and Rising Sun Texas redbud.
