Notes

'Niagara' grape (Vitis labrusca 'Niagara') is a fruit for food gardens and low maintenance plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. It is a vigorous vine that can reach 15 to 20 feet tall and wide, so give it a sturdy support. The greenish flowers are fragrant. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Berggarten sage, Creeping thyme, and Redhaven peach.
