Notes
Black and Bloom salvia (Salvia guaranitica 'Black & Bloom') is an annual for borders, pollinator gardens, containers, and cottage gardens. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows fast into a mounding clump 35 to 47 inches tall and wide. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees visit the flowers, and the plant tolerates drought. Deer tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Black Adder Bill Williams Mountain giant hyssop, Paprika yarrow, and Little Carlow tartarian aster.
