Notes
'Black & Blue' anise-scented sage (Salvia guaranitica 'Black & Blue') is an annual for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Cobalt blue flowers with black sepals appear from early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees visit them, and the foliage is fragrant. Cut it back hard each spring. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Purple top, Society garlic, and Anemone.
