Notes

'Blackberry Nip' rose (Rosa 'Blackberry Nip') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its fragrant mauve blooms open from early to late summer and attract bees. The habit is compact, so it fits small spaces. Rob Somerfield bred it in 1996.

Pairs well with Little bluestem, Niobe clematis, Garlic chives, and Oakleaf hydrangea.
