Notes

'Blackthorne' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Blackthorne') is a perennial for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and blooms in summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Moonshine yarrow, and Lady's mantle.
