Notes

'Blaze of Glory' peony (Paeonia 'Blaze of Glory') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its blooms open light lemon with red tinges and a dark center in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001.

Pairs well with Patriot hosta, Star Gazer lily, and Queen of Night tulip.
